AGM - Rules Update

Here are the motions voted upon, and the results

1) UFA Selections will increase to 5 next year. GM's who had acquired extra UFA's through trade will have their total increased by that amount, and GM's who traded their UFA's will have their total reduced in kind.

2) Expansion protection will be 8 players per roster.

3) UFA's can be used to replace skaters of different positions. Example, a GM may drop a defensemen to obtain a forward, or vice-versa. The exception to this rule is Goalies. Goalies may only be dropped for other goalies. GM's must still adhere to roster requirements of having room for 4 defensemen and1 goalie out of 20 roster spots.

4) 2009 UFA selections will expire by the 2009 trade deadline.
